The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them;
and the desert shall rejoice,
and blossom as the rose.

there will be times
when all seems like a desert
but He who gives only good gifts
can turn our deserts
into fertile fields
and sometimes
we will be the ones
to plow, plant seeds and pray
our faith and humility and hard work
will lead us
to reach out
into their wilderness and solitary place
and they will be glad
we could love that much.
